Jason Fields is a lifelong Oregonian, small business owner, and community advocate running for Yamhill County Commissioner. Raised in Portland, Jason learned the value of hard work early and built a successful career in sales and manufacturing, founding Rare Air MFG and selling tow trucks across the Northwest. With over 25 years alongside the love of his life Andrea, Jason is a devoted family man, proud father and grandfather, country music singer, and award-winning car enthusiast. From serving on local budget committees and special district boards, to helping neighbors and friends, Jason brings a grounded, hands-on approach to public service—rooted in real-life experience and a deep love for Oregon.
Jason will bring common sense, accountability, and a strong work ethic to Yamhill County government—values shaped by a lifetime of overcoming adversity and building success from the ground up. As a small business owner, Jason understands the burdens local families and entrepreneurs face from rising costs and overregulation. His approach to leadership is hands-on and practical: listen first, act with integrity, and always prioritize the needs of the community over political agendas. Drawing from his experience serving in local government, Jason will focus on fiscal responsibility, local control, and policies that protect working families, seniors, and small businesses—because he’s lived the challenges many residents face and knows how to advocate for real, lasting solutions.
